The Beatles by Bob Prescott. A set of four gyrating Beatles complete with sound and mini-speakers.
The Beatles is a development of Nigel Pope's two person "Rock Band" in the Meccano Model Library. This is the second time Bob has built it, this time to meet the 15" cube competition rules at the 2003 Convention. The Mk1 version was covered on pages 22/23 of the October 2001 edition of the NZFMM Magazine. It had a CD player fixed in its base that played The Beatles No1 CD. The kids loved it and it won the Bruce Baxter Memorial Trophy.
